GM Prep
Roll on curated community tables, reroll any piece on its own, and pin what you like for the printable Sheet Builder. Cards marked 1-click are whole-set-piece builders; the rest are slot-by-slot table rollers. Start typing to filter — or scan the sections below.
NPCs & Factions
D&D Character
A playable 5e character (SRD 5.1) that follows the rules to 20th level: choose class, race, background, subclass, and level — or roll them — and the sheet computes ability scores (with racial bonuses and level-up improvements), proficiency, hit points, saves, skills, the full feature progression, subclass features, spell slots, and rolled choices. The subclass dropdown unlocks at your class’s subclass level. Open it in the Sheet Builder to tweak, reroll, and print.
1-clickFaction
Who is really pulling the strings: a faction with a name and reputation, the goal it chases, the methods it uses, the figure who leads it, what it controls, and the scheme it is running right now — plus, for your eyes only, the weakness that can bring it down.
1-clickFantasy Names
A name for anyone at the table — dwarven forge-clans, elven mononyms, orcish battle-names, tiefling virtues, and more. Every name is coined fresh from our own morpheme pools, tuned to the sound of each people. Ask for one and get a face to go with it, or a batch to pick from.
NPC
A whole person in one roll: race and name, vocation, a stat block, features, quirks, motivations, secrets — and what happens when you meet them. Dial in a specific race or gender, or leave it to chance.
Villain
Build an antagonist: type, objective, methods, weakness — plus titles, monologues, boss mechanics, an SRD statline, and a monster-in-human-skin thread that reskins a monster's whole stat block onto a person.
Places & Establishments
Landmark
A place worth a pin: a named site with a description, a set-piece, a hazard, and a reason to go — ruin, shrine, monument, or something stranger.
1-clickSettlement
A whole settlement in one roll: its kind of place (which locks a coherent economy and trade), name, first impression, government and mood, local cuisine, and the trouble currently brewing.
1-clickShop One-Pager
A shop ready to open: premise, shelves stocked from 28 merchant types, and the keeper — personality, ideal, bond, and flaw included.
Tavern
Everything you need to bring a tavern to life: name, atmosphere, menu, entertainment, trouble.
Wagon
Roll a wagon worth traveling in: build, beasts, enhancements, and the comforts inside.
1-clickWeather & Travel
A leg of the journey in one roll: the day’s weather for the season and the wind behind it, a wilderness landmark the party comes across, and — now and then — a strange sign overhead. Pin a few for a whole trek.
Dungeons & Encounters
Dungeon
A whole themed delve in one roll: a mood, a warded gate, a run of rooms that each carry real trouble — a sprung trap, a thing worth a closer look, words on the walls, something lurking — and an inner sanctum where a themed boss guards a full treasure hoard. Pick a theme and size it to your party, then dial the loot lean or heavy.
Dungeon Dressing
Quick flavor for a dungeon crawl: graffiti scrawled on the walls, a riddle to bar the way, a hazard to spring, and a set-piece for the next room. Reroll any piece on its own. For a whole themed delve in one roll, use the Dungeon builder.
1-clickEncounter Builder
A balanced fight in one click: monsters chosen by XP budget from 697 creatures, plus tactics, a twist, and the weather overhead. Filter by creature type for a themed fight — an undead crypt, a beasts-only wilderness, a dragon’s lair.
1-clickLair
A single monster's or villain's den: the resident, the guardians it keeps, the way in, the tell that betrays it, and the treasure it hoards — sized to your party.
Loot & Magic
Art Object
A work of art for a hoard, a gallery, or a manor wall: its form and material, the scene it depicts, and what shape it’s in — plus, if you like, something uncanny about it or a curse for the unlucky owner. Great as treasure with a story attached.
Loot
Treasure worth the fight: gems, magic items, and enchanted arms with histories.
1-clickMagic
Design a magic system: its school, where the power comes from, what it costs, how potent and how accessible it is, what mastery demands — plus its casting method, imagery, guiding principle, status in the world, and a wild-magic surge.
Scavenge
What the party turns up rummaging through a place. Roll a location, or reroll any single find. Community 'what's in the room' tables.
1-clickTreasure Hoard
A full hoard by challenge tier: coins, gemstones from the right value bracket, art objects, magic items, and the trapped chest holding it all. Dial each category up or down — lean on the coin, load it with magic, strip it to a bare purse — to match what your table actually needs.
1-clickTrinket
A pocketful of the strange and sentimental: curious oddities, keepsakes with a story, unsettling curios, or a piece of jewelry — one at a time or a handful at once. Perfect for what an NPC is carrying or what turns up in a drawer.
Story & Hooks
Adventure
Seeds, conflicts, twists, and set pieces — the skeleton of your next adventure.
1-clickMystery
A whodunit in one roll: the crime and its scene, the clues to find, a lineup of persons of interest to chase, and a distraction to muddy the trail — plus, for your eyes only, who actually did it and why. Pin the case and hand the suspects to your players.
1-clickPlot Hook
An adventure hook you can aim: one for the terrain the party is crossing, and one that tugs at a class in the group — plus, now and then, a wild card to knock things sideways. Dial the terrain and the class, or leave them to chance.
Plot Hooks
Hooks by class, location, and city scene — plus wild cards.
1-clickPortents & Omens
A chill down the spine: a wild-eyed stranger presses a prophecy on the party while something wrong shows through them, or a sign burns in the sky overhead — or both at once. Drop it on the road, in a crowd, or the night before everything changes.
World & Rule
Government
A complete state: its system of rule, its leadership, the goals it chases and the methods it uses, what the people want, the complication history remembers — plus its era, mood, wealth, and the intrigue in its court.
Realm
A gazetteer entry for a political power — rule, land, people, trade, forces, disposition, peril, and the tensions of the day. Terse, almanac-style; the same tables fill a realm's page in the World tool.
World
Roll a world: its origin, age, gods, magic, titans, peoples, and weather.
