The service

Storyteller Toolbox is a free set of tools for tabletop game masters, solo players, writers, and worldbuilders: generators, oracles, and a document workspace (the Sheet Builder — growing toward maps, stat blocks, initiative trackers, and broader worldbuilding documents). By using the site you accept these terms.

Your content is yours

Everything you create here — sheets, notes, journals, prayers, campaigns, worlds — belongs to you, entirely. We claim no rights to it and take no license over it. The site's one job with your data is storing your progress so you can continue across devices: locally in your browser, and optionally in a single file in your own Google Drive. We never receive, evaluate, sell, share, or otherwise use your content — see the Privacy Policy for the full commitment and the architecture that enforces it.

Your responsibilities

• Keep your own backups of what matters. Local data lives in your browser and can be lost to cleared site data; the Drive backup is under your control (Google Drive retains prior revisions of the backup file for a limited time, which helps with accidents).
• Use the site and its Google Drive integration as intended — don't attempt to disrupt the service, misuse the integration, or circumvent its single-file scope.
• You're responsible for the content you create and how you use it.

Generated content

The generators compose results from community-contributed and original tables (attributions on the About page). Generated output is fiction offered as inspiration — use it freely in your games and writing. If you contributed to a source list and want something removed, get in touch.

No warranty

The site is a hobby project provided as is, free of charge, with no warranties of any kind — including availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or that your data will never be lost. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any damages arising from use of the site. Features may change, break, or be retired.

Changes & contact

These terms may be updated as the tool grows; the current version always lives at this page with its effective date. Continued use after a change means acceptance. Questions: u/seriousd6.
